What the app stores locally

  • Selected sounds and app volume preferences.
  • Saved checks: an optional room label, the checking iPhone model, the numeric result, uncertainty when available, and the date. No baby name or birth date is ever requested.
  • Track history: numerical sound samples, session dates and duration, playback context and interruption information. This includes a local journal used to recover an interrupted session.
  • The calibration catalog version.
  • Founder Laboratory Mode exports when that hidden engineering tool is deliberately unlocked: numeric samples, experiment notes, device/build metadata, and interruption status. No microphone audio.

What the microphone is used for

After microphone permission is granted, opening Check starts a live measurement; leaving that screen or moving the app out of the foreground stops Check. Starting Track or a laboratory run also opens the microphone. Those sessions can continue with the screen locked or the app in the background until stopped or interrupted.

Microphone samples are processed temporarily into numerical measurements and discarded. They are not saved as replayable audio files or transmitted. Playing bundled sounds does not itself start microphone capture; a separately active Track session can continue listening during playback.

What leaves the app

Lullasure does not operate an account or cloud-sync service for these measurements. The app does not automatically upload microphone audio, saved checks or Track history to Lullasure.

The laboratory tool supports deliberate exports of numerical samples, notes and device/build information. If you share an export, its destination is the one you select. Local storage does not mean that a file you choose to export stays on the phone.

Purchases are handled by the App Store through StoreKit. Lullasure sees a verified entitlement state, not your payment details.
